Manti Telecommunications Company Selects net.com to Enable IP Video Solutions

SCREAM offers high performance solution for advanced video services delivery

Fremont, April 13, 2005 net.com (NYSE: NWK), a global supplier of adaptive broadband technology, and Pannaway Technologies, Inc., designers and developers of converged broadband voice, video and data platforms, jointly announced today that Lennon Telephone Company, established in 1918 and under its current ownership since 1946, has selected net.coms SHOUT2500, a highly integrated IP telephony provisioning platform delivering unprecedented cost-performance metrics, for delivery of Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) services to business and residential customers within their local exchange.
net.com is providing the SCREAM service delivery platform, a next generation broadband remote access server (BRAS) designed to deliver advanced quality of service (QoS) required for delivering the triple play of voice, video and data services over either ATM or IP. SCREAM also provides the subscriber management functionality required for basic broadband Internet access.

The SCREAM100 is a fully redundant ATM switch, IP router and BRAS designed for cost-conscious service providers needing a flexible platform for service delivery.
