This has been one of those crazy, busy weeks. But in anticipation of working with a new client who has been diagnosed with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), I dug out my favorite book on the topic, ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life, by Judith Kolberg (THE chronic disorganization guru) and Kathleen Nadeau, PH.D (an expert in the ADD field). My plan was to brush up on some ADD-friendly ways to structure the organizing process and systems that we will design for our client. As I skimmed Chapter 2, ADD-Friendly Strategies That Work WITH Your ADD, I started to see MYSELF in some of the descriptions of adults with ADD! Now, I have never been diagnosed, and never even considered that I NEEDED intervention.
